Monday Mewsings! Best Dressed Pet!

Not all our blog followers are on Facebook,  so some of you may still be wondering...'How did Coco fare at the Super Pet Expo in Chantilly, Virginia this past weekend?'

I, for one, was not sure if putting her in any other costume than the 'Pink Confection' pageant dress could garner enough votes from the judges and the crowd. But I decided to go with the ensemble she was wearing for her TV clip, as Hello Kitty is always popular.

We did have some inventive competition, including a Chia Pet, a Hippie, a Ray of Sunshine and a Bunny named Bubbles, dressed for a night on the town.

But in the judges eyes and the votes gathered by applause from the crowd...it was Coco, the Yellow Sub and the 16 year old Athlete Dog!

And Coco, the reigning queen, won Best Dressed Pet 2014!

I am not sure if it was the Hello Kitty dress, or the socks that looked like Mary Jane's, or her pink Kitty Wig of long flowing locks, but one judge said it was that the whole ensemble was well put together!

After winning the title for the second year in a row, and posing for photos afterwards, Coco and I strolled around the Expo, making friends and having fun shopping!
