Monday Mewsings...Hollywoof Style!

What a fantastic weekend we had attending the Wigglebutts Go Hollywoof Benefit Gala for Oldie But Goodies Cocker Rescue!

We know you have been waiting to see Coco's (and my) dress, so here's a peak at Coco's!

Anna M made the gown, hat and matching lead, and the photos don't do it justice!

There was even a sparkling brooch at the neckline to add more bling!

And here is my dress, also in rich purple with sequins!

and here we are together, on the Red Carpet!

This is just a taste of what the fantabulous weekend held for Coco and I...
more photos and news soon!

Fashion Friday!

Where did the week go?? Do I dare cram in a weeks worth of activity into one blog post?

Well, a lot has been going on, and we know...Inquiring minds want to know!!

Coco and I made our appearance at the National Capital Cat Show on September 6-7th and it was part work...

I am Senior (OK, no jokes here about that being apparent) Client Care Specialist at Just Cats Clinic in Reston, VA and so on Saturday, with some able assistants, we manned the booth and passed out goody bags and talked to all the cat lovers who stopped by...

 And part pleasure!

See, these beauties are all wearing tiaras! Coco, Mrs Virginia 2014, Autumn-Skye Boothe and Alanna Port, Miss Colligeate Virginia 2014! They said they were envious of Coco's wardrobe!

And then this week, the excitement was the arrival by UPS of the new book, The Adventures of Coco LeChat, the world's most fashionable feline!!

It's not due to be released until October 30th, 2014, so it was a big surprise to have our copies arrive this early!! Just in time for HollyWoof, Barktoberfest and the Central PA Pet Expo!!

I am so pleased with how the book came to life (more on that in another post...) and the vision that the author and photographer had was truly inspired and each picture, and the story line, is charming and while a children's book...who doesn't want to feel the joy of being a child even if you are grown up!

Coco is in the process of signing a few special copies, and if you would like to purchase a book now, just leave us a comment and we will get in touch with you!

And to round out this week...we are busily preparing for HollyWoof tomorrow! I didn't lose enough weight to fit into this lovely ensemble...

But I kind of knew that about a month ago, so I commissioned Anna M of Herndon to come up with an outfit for Coco that would match my backup dress!

OMC, it's a surprise that will have to wait til tomorrow, but just let me say, dress and hat and matching leash are splendiferous and we are sure the paparazzi at Hollywoof will be stumbling over themselves to get our photo!

Of course, I have visions of Anna M becoming Coco's personal couturier and a line of clothing coming out...one has to dream!

Wordless (Well, Almost) Wednesday

Coco, getting to know Mr. Reston!

As you know, Coco's mother also resides with us, and because I take her to work with me almost every day...she is getting out and about more that her daughter as of late!

Kely, Mr Reston's Lap Cat!

I think it is so cute that they can share clothes, even if they don't want to pose together for photos...

Here is a summery dress, from Belle Diva Couture... I am not sure
'Who Wore It Better?'...what do you think?

And it's Wednesday, so don't forget to Hop!

Wordless (Not) Wednesday!

I failed once again to compose a post for Fashion Friday and Monday Mewsings...I've been busy decorating Coco's new ride!

And on this coming Fashion Friday will be busy preparing for the National Capital Cat Show this weekend...so this W. W. will have to be the wordiest for us this week, because I couldn't let another day go by without sharing the photos and fun that Coco and I had at the Fancy Cats 18th Annual Fundraising Gala last Saturday night!

Coco hasn't been out and about much, but this past weekend was the Fancy Cats gala, Carnaval Around de Alleys and Coco and I got to attend, courtesy of Just Cats Clinic and we had a fantabulous time!

We met Gwen Cooper, the best selling author of Homer's Odyssey. She was the inspiring guest speaker, and we so loved listening to her and Homer's inspiring story...how she continues to be amazed and inspired by Homer's impact on the world. She said that kindness is powerful and the ripple effect of caring is far reaching and she said something so simple yet so profound... 'Helping Animals Helps Humans'.

We enjoyed meeting many new friends and got to share our goals and dreams of how we hope the soon to be released children's book, The Adventures of Coco LeChat, the World's Most Fashionable Feline, will have such a ripple effect in helping animals, too!

And once the book all about Coco comes out in mid-October, we are thinking she and I will be out and about a lot, promoting the book!

If you would like to pre-order a copy of your very own, you can do that on Amazon! I'm going to have Coco sign a few copies, too and have those available to purchase from us directly!

And this weekend is the National Capital Cat Show and Coco and I will be there!

Then on September 27th, it's Barktoberfest  and yes, Coco will be be there!

All this activity! A very busy Autumn for Coco and I and we are so looking forward to it!

And since today is Wednesday, please don't forget to Hop! You'll be glad you did!
