Fashion Friday

Before Coco (and I) became enamored with couture, she dressed in OTR (Off the Rack, for those of you not familiar with the term).

Many of the outfits were poorly made or just not fit properly for a cat. But once in a while, I came across styles that looked good on Coco...

We thought you would enjoy seeing a few photos of Coco in her early fashion days, strolling around at Cat Shows, and even at the vets!

Monday Mewsings...

My new job has me working weekends now, so Coco and I haven't been out and about attending all the fund raising Fashion Shows and we are kind of green with envy at our friends who can...

But I have been busy trying to complete Coco's wardrobe so we can get started on a Calendar featuring her! One more package to be delivered and then Coco will have outfits to match every month of the year!

Of course, we all know how important accessories are, so next on the list is to search for just the right backdrop for each special outfit!

Here are the new frocks that arrived this week!

Fashion Friday

If Coco looks a bit miffed, it's because this Fashionable Friday post is unfashionably late.

Remember back in October, when Coco and I let everyone know she was going to make her first personal appearance as Coco, the Couture Cat?

Because I started a new job and was in training full time for two weeks, somehow a few Fashionable Fridays have passed without sharing the experience with Coco's fans.

So, without further ado, here's a recap of the fantastic fun we had at the Central PA Pet Expo.

Thanks to our friend, Carol, we got to live it up in a nice hotel for the weekend! Coco said the hotel room was to her liking, with a comfy bed. . .

And even Cat TV with the Bird Channel dialed in!

Of course, Coco had to have a Bubble Bath, and a pedicure, and her fur styled, too.

After all that primping, I couldn't find her and thought maybe she had burrowed under the covers on the bed...but she had found her Pink Sleepy Pod up on top of the armoire and felt safe and warm up there!

Thanks to our friend Amy Jo, who was putting on the Expo, we had a piece of prime real estate in which to meet and greet the crowd.

Coco had room to spread out her all her wardrobe, including hats and crystal bangle leashes from Fabuleash! And of course, she always travels in style in her Pink Catillac.

Coco appeared in the Central PA Pets Fall/Winter 2013 magazine, so when people came up to her booth, they already knew who she was and everyone wanted to meet her in person!

But Coco wasn't the only attraction at the Central PA Pet Expo, and she and I had time to stroll around and see what else was wagging and squawking and purring there, too!

And you know what made this extravaganza even better??

We were right next to our friends, The Wigglebutt Warriors.  Those two doggies and their humans are the most warm and loving friends we have and it really made our weekend to be able to canoodle with them, and share the Peach Bellinis we made and have a fun time at Al's Tavern, too!!

I want to give a big Shout Out to Amy Jo Hanna for the super job she did putting on the Expo and for letting us be a part of the extravaganza! It will be part of our plans every year if she'll invite us back!

Wordless Wednesday

In between her photo shoots, Coco has time to relax and watch the wildlife in her backyard.

It's a lovely time of year here in the DC Metro area and we live beside a lake, so there is abundant wildlife to keep a cat entertained...the Coco safely indoors, of course!

Oh, and don't forget to Hop!

Monday Mewsings

Coco didn't have an outfit that said 'November'... so we had to fix that!

Here she is, looking very seasonal in her Autumnal frock from Pauline's Fashions for Pets.

She says it goes well with her fur color, which is called Brown Patched Tabby.

She thinks her fur is reminiscent of the colors of Fall leaves... What do you think?

Fashion Friday

As Sparkle told us, some parts of the USA are still experiencing summer time weather and kitties are wearing beach wear, with temps up into the 90's.

But here in the DC Metro area, it's time to pull out the winter wardrobe, and with that in mind, when I was out shopping at Home Goods, I came across two Pink items that I thought Coco would enjoy.

A pink puffy coat with a rhinestone heart button and a 'fur lined' hood that snaps down so it's not in the way. And a cute pink leopard print sweater, that together with the coat makes a lovely ensemble, don't you think?

Thankful Thursday

Why is Coco Thankful today?

It's because her personal assistant (me) came home from shopping today...
with a couple of new winter time fashionable outfits for her!

And both in her favorite color... Pink!

You will get to see Coco modeling them tomorrow!
